A unique vision two decades in the making, BASIN’s form was realized by internationally recognized AD100 architect Matteo Thun. Organic textures, minimalistic grandeur and an incomparable location combine to create a truly transformative experience.

Realizing the vision.
In the words of architect Matteo Thun, “Nature should shape the architecture, not the other way around.” BASIN maximizes natural light, creating dramatic shadow play as the sun moves throughout the day. An earth-toned and organic palette complements the impressive beams that span the length of the ceiling, crafted from sustainably sourced Canadian wood, which will gently patina over time.
